Electric Power Generation Sales Representative

The Electric Power Generation (EPG) Sales Representative is responsible for developing lasting relationships with Mustang Cat's power generation customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learn about customers' business needs and develop customer-driven solutions utilizing Mustang Cat’s unique abilities to serve them
  • Establish and maintain profitable relationships with contractors, engineers, and end users within Mustang's territory
  • Deliver sales presentations for all EPG product offerings
  • Create quotes, process sales orders, and review contracts
  • Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships
  • Remain up-to-date on market trends

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or any other applicable degree
  • Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills: verbal, written, phone, email, in-person
  • Understanding of engine principles, including electric power knowledge and motor load sizing
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess ardent desire to win
  • An outgoing personality combined with good work ethic

Strongly preferred experience:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of CAT equipment
