Field Sales Representative

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Field Sales Representative within our Fleet division. This position falls under our Fuel line of business and is located in either Oklahoma or Houston, TX. In this role, you will help us market and sell our industry-leading SaaS-based Fuel Management Solutions within a defined market. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales and committed to continuous professional and personal development through training and coaching. You will report directly to the Field Sales Manager and regularly collaborate with the Fleet sales team.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be expected to work in a virtual environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prospecting via phone, cold calling, email, and social media daily, with the goal of setting 5-10 net new appointments per week
  • Conducting 5-10 effective net new in-person and/or Zoom/Web-enabled sales calls, along with 3-5 follow-up sales calls per week
  • Following a consultative sales methodology to identify prospective customers' goals, challenges, and needs, then aligning their needs to potential solutions, and demonstrating the value proposition of appropriate solutions
  • Maintaining a balanced pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Reporting sales activities within Salesforce CRM
  • Mastering our Sales Methodology and Playbook
  • Engaging in personal and professional development through feedback and coaching from sales management and peers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 3 years of documented field sales experience in a B2B setting
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to prospect, generate leads, and set appointments effectively
  • Strong time management and sales territory management skills
  • Proven sales call management, presentation, and closing skills
  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience working from a home office
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM
