Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Supervisor, Electric Operations to lead field crews in the electric distribution network. You will drive safety, quality, and reliability while overseeing safety programs, budgeting, and compliance with labor agreements.

This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication to deliver dependable service to customers. You will plan and direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities, mentor and coach staff, coordinate with Forestry, Locators,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Five+ years relevant experience with supervisory or team leadership preferred, OR five+ years in a heavy industrial or military environment with at least three years in a supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Foster safety culture and zero incidents by championing safety efforts and supporting Safety Committees.
• Plan, schedule, and direct field co-workers engaged in construction, operations and maintenance for electric distribution systems.
• Set expectations, develop and evaluate co-workers to assure safe, efficient, and effective performance.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to field staff to deliver Customer First service while performing construction activities.
• Ensure Ameren Construction Standards are followed and review data related to work tracking and materials management.
• Support storm restoration efforts as requested.
