Job summary

Ameren Illinois seeks a Supervisor, Electric Operations to lead electric field crews in the distribution network. You will drive safety, oversee budget, and coordinate with safety programs and bargaining agreements while delivering reliable service to customers in central and southern Illinois.

You will plan, schedule, and direct activities for field crews, foster a culture of safety, and partner with multiple departments to meet performance goals and improve operations, including storm response

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Five+ years in planning/analysis of electric distribution with supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Maximo, ARCOS, TRIS, and OAS systems preferred.
• Administrative, communication and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster safety culture and lead safety objectives.
• Coordinate Safety Committees and conduct Job Behavioral Observations.
• Plan, schedule, and direct field crews for electric distribution work.
• Set expectations and coach co-workers for safe, efficient performance.
• Ensure Ameren Construction Standards are followed.
• Review data on work tracking, time reporting, and materials management.
• Support storm restoration efforts as requested.
• Plan future work, visit job sites, and document prerequisites.
• Coordinate with Forestry, Locators, Design/Engineering, DCO and customers.
• Review new work identified by Trouble/Emergency departments in Maximo.
