Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a winder to disassemble, repair, rewind, and reassemble electric motors and generators. The role includes training and opportunities to learn advanced winding techniques.

Candidates should be able to work with basic tools and follow safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities include rewinding motors, testing with core loss and insulation equipment, and assembling coils in armatures while maintaining quality standards.

• Experienced winder is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rewind and repair electric motors and generators.
• Operate core loss tester, hipotential test, surge test and megger test equipment, and test panels (AC/DC).
• Winds coils and installs/aligns coils in armature.
• Apply proper insulation systems for rewinding quality.
• Perform basic math including fractions.
• Take initiative to master processes with or without supervision.
