Sulzer is hiring for a Winder position in Colton. The role involves disassembling, rewinding, repairing, and assembling electric motors and generators. Training is provided, with on-the-job instruction and opportunities to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities include winding, testing, coil installation, insulation practices, and basic math. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds; on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Rewinding electric motors and generators.
• Operate core loss tester, hipotential, surge and megger tests.
• Tig armature connections and silfos brazed connections.
• Manufacture and install random wound coils and align coils.
• Ensure proper insulation systems for rewinding quality.
• Perform basic math including fractions.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn processes with or without supervision.
