Job summary

E495 Sulzer Electro-Mechanical Services (US) Inc. seeks a skilled Motor & Generator Winder to perform winding, rewinding, insulation, connection, and electrical rebuild work on heavy-industrial motors, generators, and related equipment.

The role covers teardown, data recording, repair, and field service across diverse industrial markets. Developing candidates will grow through hands‑on training; experienced winders may independently perform rewinding, testing, documentation, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical aptitude with strong hand skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow winding data, drawings, diagrams, procedures, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn specialized rewind processes and insulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove windings, insulation, wedges, and leads.
• Record winding data during teardown and repair.
• Prepare stators, rotors, armatures, and related components for rewind.
• Manufacture, install, and inspect windings and coils.
• Read and interpret winding data, drawings, and repair procedures.
