Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled Winder to rewind electromechanical equipment and perform winding-related tasks. You will inspect, document, and test windings, while preparing parts for reuse and ensuring safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes accuracy, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to EASA standards, with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced team across North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
• Experience with windings on armatures and synchronous rotor poles
• Strong math skills: basic arithmetic incl. fractions
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to follow training, safety procedures
• Operate and perform VPI
• Initiative and judgment within company standards

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment
• Dismantle and strip damaged equipment incl. media blasting
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and faults
• Document data on electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect for damage
• Strip stator without damaging core or iron
• Test rewound equipment per EASA standards
