Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Senior Winder to rewind and overhaul electromechanical equipment. The role requires extensive winding experience, precise inspection, and documentation of electromagnetic data. You’ll work on-site, dismantling, repairing, and testing windings, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document data on unit electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, damage, and serviceability.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect for hidden damage.
• Strip stator or apparatus without damaging core.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and document results.
