Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled Winder to join our team in the United States. You will rewind and inspect various electromechanical equipment, document winding data, and prepare parts for rewinding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate machinery and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and strip damaged equipment and inspect for winding damage.
• Document data on electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and document results.
