Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled Winder to rewind various electromechanical equipment and ensure winding quality. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and attention to detail as you dismantle, inspect, and reassemble windings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience rewinding AC and DC motors.
• Experience with windings, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
• Ability to perform basic math (add/sub/mul/div) including fractions.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Understanding and following job-related training, safety procedures.
• Ability to operate and perform VPI.
• Ability to exercise initiative and judgment within company standards.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists.

Responsabilités

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle/strip damaged equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical faults.
• Document data about electromagnetic characteristics and conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect for damage.
• Strip stator or apparatus without damaging core.
• Test rewound equipment according to EASA standards and document results.
