Qualifications

  • Apprentice 4th Year: 4+ years demonstrated linework experience required.
  • Apprentice 3rd Year: 3+ years demonstrated linework experience required.
  • Apprentice 2nd Year: 2+ years demonstrated linework experience required.
  • Apprentice 1st Year: Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience required.
  • Pre-employment Fitness for Duty exam required.
  • Position is Safety Sensitive and requires mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform less difficult tasks and assist others in high and low voltage line work.
  • Use pole climbing equipment and work on poles safely.
  • Assist in installation of poles, structures, and hardware.
  • Assist in trimming trees and maintaining rights of way.
  • Prepare reports and records; operate company vehicles.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
