Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Sr. Lineworker to oversee and perform tasks across Helper through Lineworker III levels, with emphasis on safety, leadership, and advanced primary voltage switching up to 34,500 volts.

The role requires CDL, strong physical aptitude, and ability to work irregular hours and travel up to 25%. Primary work locations include multiple Louisiana sites; the position is safety sensitive and may involve storm response duties and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months - 4 years of distribution field experience; placement by level based on experience.
• Valid driver's license and Class-A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety tools and PPE usage on day-to-day tasks.
• Operate trucks and equipment such as Aerial Bucket, Bread Vans, and Digger Derrick Trucks.
• Read and understand job prints and sketches per distribution standards.
• Lead and coordinate line crew activities as needed.
• Maintain organized, safe job sites and follow First Aid/CPR and safety training.
