Job summary

Qualifications

• Apprentice 1st Year: Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience required.
• Apprentice 2nd Year: 2+ years demonstrated linework experience required.
• Apprentice 3rd Year: 3+ years demonstrated linework experience required.
• Apprentice 4th Year: 4+ years demonstrated linework experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform less difficult tasks and assist others in high and low voltage line work.
• Assist in installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting equipment and fixtures.
• Assist qualified lineman or mechanic in inspection and maintenance.
• Handle poles, install xarms and hardware, and install conductors on dead circuits.
• Operate company vehicles and prepare reports and records.
