Job summary

Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead major electric and gas infrastructure projects in the New York area.

The role involves directing project execution, coordinating across departments, and ensuring conformance to safety and regulatory requirements. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and contractor performance, with extensive use of Primavera P6, Unifier, and Oracle tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering or a related field with relevant project management experience.
• PM certification such as PMP is desirable and demonstrates formal knowledge of PM principles.
• 8+ years of related engineering and/or construction experience in utilities or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Direct major system expansion, upgrade and construction projects with oversight and leadership.
• Coordinate with multiple company departments and secure permits, fees and licenses.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and cost control; provide monthly reports to management.
