Job summary

Bandera Electric Cooperative is seeking an Electric Distribution System Operator to coordinate outage restorations and issue switching orders for the distribution grid. You will monitor SCADA and OMS systems, maintain detailed logs, and support field personnel during real-time operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of college-level coursework in Electrical Distribution or related field preferred.
• 6+ months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct all distribution electric outage restorations.
• Issue clearances and switching orders to field personnel.
• Maintain logs of daily activities and events for the distribution system.
• Assist with switching activities and coordinate with control center as needed.
• Monitor SCADA and OMS data to ensure system reliability.
