Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education required with relevant technical experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends.
• Experience in electrical distribution or related military experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Direct switching personnel and coordinate outages to maximize resource use.
• Monitor distribution system parameters and respond to disturbances.
• Input outage data into OMS and provide restoration updates.
• Oversee switching, tagging, and clearance processes for safety.
• Troubleshoot distribution issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Manage field personnel and control devices via SCADA; develop switching procedures.
• Communicate effectively with operations centers and customers.
