Job summary

Yuma County in Arizona seeks an Elections IT Support Specialist to install, configure, test and monitor election and voter registration computer systems and equipment at vote centers, including early voting. You will work with Elections and Voter Registration staff to keep systems running and assist with training materials.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 2 years of office PC experience; familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Windows/Office; and 1 year in an election

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required with 2 years of related office PC experience.
  • Experience with Outlook (Exchange) e-mail and Microsoft Windows/Office products.
  • One year of experience in an election department or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test and monitor election and voter registration computer and communication systems and peripheral devices.
  • Plan and deploy election equipment to vote centers, including in-person early voting.
  • Assist users with procedures and use of election equipment and create training content.
  • Support programming and networking of election management software and train temporary workers.
  • Assist poll workers on Election Day with technical operation of voting equipment.
