Job summary

Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office (FL) is seeking an Election Manager to oversee year-round election readiness and the election worker program. You will supervise seasonal staff, recruit, train, schedule, and retain workers, and administer the election worker online portal.

You will work with the Director of Operations to plan Early Voting and Election Day staffing, polling location readiness, and continuous improvement of processes, ensuring timelines and procedures are maintained

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, management, organizational, project-management, and time-management skills.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Ability to develop training materials, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and election software and portals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned operational components of Early Voting, Election Day, and other activities.
• Develop and maintain timelines, calendars, checklists, and deadlines.
• Monitor preparations and address staffing, training, polling locations, and operations concerns.
• Create contingency plans for staffing and polling changes.
• Oversee election worker program from recruitment to post-election evaluation.
• Manage election worker training and the online worker portal.
• Ensure readiness and smooth operation of polling locations and early voting sites.
• Lead continuous improvement through performance measurement and post-election reviews.
