Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an IT support contractor to prepare, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot IT equipment for election operations across multiple sites in California. You will set up workstations, provide field technical support, and assist staff with administrative and technical needs during active operations.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of IT support experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to work at various locations.

Qualifications

• Support the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and breakdown of IT equipment for election operations.
• Travel to assigned locations to provide field technical support.
• Assist election staff with technical needs, administrative support, and call center coverage.
• Maintain accurate equipment handling, inventory, and storage practices.
• 1-2 years of IT support or related equipment setup experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean DMV record; LIVESCAN background required.
• Availability for full assignment period with no planned time off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot IT equipment, including PCs, laptops, cell phones, and related workstation components.
• Set up IT workstations and technical equipment at internal and external election operations sites.
• Provide field support at designated locations, including headquarters, operations centers, vote center locations, and other assigned sites.
• Assist election staff with administrative and technical support needs during active operations.
• Deprocess, dismantle, inventory, and properly store IT equipment after election operations conclude.
• Support call center activities and participate in required off-site training as needed.
