Job summary

Utah County Elections is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with elections. Election workers provide support to ensure elections are conducted accurately, efficiently, securely, and per procedures. Multiple temporary, part-time assignments available with flexible scheduling.

Positions include Ballot Center and Elections duties, with data entry, voter assistance, and ballot processing responsibilities. Applicants will be assigned based on qualifications and needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established election procedures.
• Ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with the public and other election staff.
• Basic computer skills as required by the assigned position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with election and ballot-processing tasks using office equipment, computers, election equipment, and mail-processing equipment.
• Assist with vote center equipment testing and setup.
• Process returned, completed, and undeliverable ballots.
• Coordinate and prepare ballots for scanning and election-result processing.
• Assist with receiving returned ballots and verifying voter signatures.
• Sort and organize ballots and election materials for election-day counting and other processing needs.
• Perform basic data entry tasks and provide general support for Elections Office operations.
• Assist voters and provide election-related information in accordance with established procedures.
