  • Set up voting equipment, ballots, signage, privacy areas, and other vote center materials.
  • Check in voters and verify registration and eligibility according to established procedures.
  • Provide voters with appropriate ballots and explain voting procedures and equipment without influencing voter choices.
  • Protect ballot secrecy and voter privacy.
  • Maintain an orderly and accessible voting environment.
  • Follow election laws, policies, security requirements, and established procedures.
  • Monitor voting equipment and supplies and report problems as needed.
  • Provide permitted assistance to voters while maintaining voter independence and privacy.
  • Reconcile ballots and voting records at the close of voting.
  • Secure ballots, voting equipment, and other election materials at the end of the voting period.

# **Election Poll Worker - Temporary/Part-Time****Pay Range:** $19.50-$21.00 per hour, depending on assignment **Benefits:** No Benefits**The Opportunity** Utah County Elections is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with the Elections. Election Workers provide essential support to ensure elections are conducted accurately, efficiently, securely, and in accordance with established election procedures. This recruitment will be used to fill multiple temporary, part-time election assignments. Applicants will apply once and, if selected, will be assigned to a position based on qualifications, experience, availability, operational needs, and the requirements of each assignment.**Poll Worker** Poll Workers assist with operating vote centers and serving voters during the election.
