Job summary

Manor Lake Hickory is seeking a Dining Supervisor to assist the Culinary Director in coordinating dining operations for residents and guests. You will oversee seating, appearance, and server stations, ensuring courteous and efficient service.

Responsibilities include managing dining room discussions, training staff, recording meal counts, and supporting safety procedures while maintaining a welcoming, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background screening required by law.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, patience, and effective interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room appearance of dining room, bistro, and server stations.
• Coordinate seating of residents and guests courteously and efficiently.
• Record meal counts and additional charges.
• Assist Culinary Director with dining room status and policy implementation.
• Close dining rooms and assist with side work and station setup.
• Provide training for dining room personnel and wait tables/beverage services.
• Participate in cost-control measures and attend in-service trainings.
