Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager with the day-to-day operations of the dietary department.
• Schedule, supervise, and coordinate dietary staff.
• Assist with meal preparation, tray service, dining room service, and meal delivery.
• Ensure meals and snacks follow resident diets, physician orders, and care plans.
• Monitor special diets, allergies, and meal substitutions; maintain diet lists and records.
• Promote proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
• Collaborate with nursing, administration, the registered dietitian, and interdisciplinary team.
• Prepare for regulatory surveys and maintain department records and documentation.
