Valley Mental Health is seeking a dedicated Domestic Aide to provide non-direct patient care to residents in our facility. The role requires prompt tasks such as assisting with meals, linens, and room turns, while upholding safety protocols.

You will monitor observations, help orient new residents, and support basic daily living activities. A CNA certification must be obtained within six months of starting; company provides supervision and training as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain CNA certification within six months from start date.

Aufgaben

• Answer call lights promptly and courteously.
• Pass trays in dining room and to residents.
• Pass drinking water and ice.
• Strip and remake bed linens as directed.
• Report observations to supervisor and document nourishment intake.
• Assist orientation of new residents to facility.
• Maintain room labeling and cleanliness of equipment.
• Monitor safety, infection control, and fire safety.
• Ensure resident rights are respected.

Ausbildung

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification within six months
