Job summary

Valley-Mental-Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under supervision. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, maintaining resident dignity, and safeguarding confidentiality within a supportive team.

You will collaborate with nursing staff to admit and discharge residents, monitor condition changes, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents and in daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse and document care provided.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of gait belts; ensure resident safety.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with the team to support resident well-being.
