Bedford Care Centers is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to provide direct care for long-term care residents, focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to support residents' well-being, comfort, and safety.

The role involves assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges, coordinating with the nursing team, responding to call lights, and interpreting residents' verbal and non-verbal cues to ensure quality daily care.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification

Responsabilités

• Provides care and explanation to the Residents according to the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) Care Plan
• Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges
• Communicates with Nursing Department co-workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents
• Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly
• Recognizes and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication from Residents
