Job summary

Concord Health Systems is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist nursing staff in caring for residents in a clinical setting. You will perform a range of daily care tasks under supervision to meet residents' needs and ensure comfort and safety.

Training and competency testing are provided if needed, with emphasis on patient dignity, accuracy in documentation, and teamwork with nursing personnel. The role supports the facility’s care goals in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of nurse aide training and competency testing required or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs any combination of following duties in care of residents under direction of nursing and medical staff.
• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help after training.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and repositions residents requiring physical assistance, alone or with assistance, to maintain good skin integrity.
• Changes bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answers telephone as needed.
• Food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues supplies as needed.
• Reports resident status to the nurse on duty and documents in the written medical record as required.
• May be assigned other duties.
