Academies of Math and Science in Phoenix, AZ seeks an English Language Development Teacher (K-8) to join a network of high-performing public charter schools. Location: 3335 W Flower St. Immediate start; compensation ranges from $48,331.25 to $54,571.89 yearly (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Use AMS curriculum standards to teach students above and below grade level through differentiated instruction.
• Attend weekly professional development sessions and collaborate in grade-level or content-area professional learning communities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and lead parent-student-teacher conferences to promote student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with administrators and staff to create a positive, supportive learning environment that addresses academic and behavioral needs.
• Use measurable data to monitor and enrich student progress with visible results.
• Work collaboratively with school and network teams to improve instructional practices and ensure ongoing academic success.
• Use PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to guide students in developing social and emotional skills essential for lifelong learning.
