Academies of Math and Science (AMS) Desert Sky Campus in Phoenix is seeking an ELD Teacher for K–8 for the 2026–2027 school year. The role focuses on developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking for multilingual learners, aligned to AZELLA standards and AMS curricula.

The candidate will differentiate instruction, analyze data, and collaborate with teachers to ensure access to grade-level content while maintaining a structured, inclusive learning environment and engaging families in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, ESL, or a related field; AZ teaching certification required or in process.
• SEI Endorsement or 45 hours SEI training required.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management skills and data-driven instructional mindset; commitment to Title I and multilingual communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ELD instruction aligned to AZELLA standards and AMS curricula.
• Differentiate instruction for varying English proficiency levels; use data to guide planning.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, coaches, and admins to support multilingual learners.
