Job summary

Eaton Corporation in El Paso, TX is seeking a Factory Operations Manager to provide overall leadership for multiple manufacturing value streams. The role focuses on safe, efficient production, on-time delivery, and target costs while guiding Value Stream Managers and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership, plus Lean/Six Sigma expertise. Relocation sponsorship is available for the right fit. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in a high-volume environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple production areas or value streams.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred; demonstrated Lean/Six Sigma/continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Value Stream Managers to align with plant objectives and execute safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost targets.
• Provide operational leadership for multiple value streams to ensure on-time delivery within budget and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Champion a safety-first culture by driving MESH initiatives and promoting a Zero Incident Culture across the facility.
• Establish and monitor plant-wide performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, CIF, EBS, ELSS, and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and cost competitiveness.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards through robust systems and problem-solving methodologies.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Sales, and Finance to optimize overall performance.
• Lead capacity and labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demand while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and leadership development through coaching and performance management.
