Job summary

Eaton is seeking an HR Manager to lead the HR function at one of its largest manufacturing sites in El Paso, TX. The role reports to the Plant Manager and supports a 1,000-person engineer-to-order operation with relocation assistance available.

As a senior member of the site leadership team, you will shape people strategy, manage compensation, training, and development, and drive organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of HR theory, policies, laws and regulations (Wage and Salary Admin, Labor Relations, OSHA, EPA, Right-to-Know, FMLA).
• Administrative knowledge includes Benefits Administration, Budgeting, Forecasting, Wage and Salary Administration.
• Leadership and supervisory skills are required.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function at a large manufacturing site.
• Develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Drive culture change and organization effectiveness aligned with business strategy.
• Oversee performance management, including annual appraisals and calibration.
• Manage employee communications and HR policies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure legal compliance across the United States, including state/local requirements.
• Administer compensation programs and maintain competitive pay practices.
• Foster positive employee relations and talent retention strategies.
