Job summary

Ellington Public Schools is seeking a full-time English Learner/Multilingual Learner (EL/ML) Paraprofessional to support PK12 students district-wide. The role provides instructional assistance under the EL/ML Coordinator.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, language development support, and flexible movement between schools as needed. Prior classroom experience and multilingual abilities are preferred for this role in Ellington, CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to EL/ML students across PK–12.

• Collaborate with teachers and EL/ML Coordinator to support language development.
• Assist with administration of state English language proficiency assessments.
• Travel between multiple schools within the district as needed.
