Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Municipal engineering team in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. You will work on civil and municipal projects for highways, local roads, utilities, parks, trails, and related infrastructure under supervision of a Licensed Engineer.

This entry level role emphasizes teamwork, field observations, cost estimates, reports, and construction documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D is expected, with opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and successful completion of the EIT exam or ability to take within six months of starting.
• Related Co-op/Internship experience preferred; 1–2 years of civil engineering experience for more experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of civil designs, plans and specifications under supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design intent alignment.
• Perform field work and construction observation as needed.
• Assist in review of shop drawings and submittals and prepare site observation reports.
