Job summary

Pixelle Specialty Solutions in Spring Grove, PA, seeks an Electrical Instrumentation Controls Supervisor (EI&C) to lead a maintenance team, champion safety, and ensure reliable operation of electrical and control systems across the plant.

You will drive incident investigations, implement the reliability roadmap, manage budgets and spending, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level certification or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage people and lead a team.
• Minimum of five years in an industrial environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and safety procedures.
• Ability to wear respirator safety equipment and protective clothing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and manuals.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team for electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Conduct incident investigations (substandard conditions, near misses, injuries, observations).
• Promote safety awareness and compliance with Pixelle's Electrical Safety Policy.
• Support environmental systems awareness and compliance.
• Identify and implement reliability roadmaps and process improvements.
• Apply Pixelle Playbook processes to drive tasks and workflows.
• Participate in capital budgeting, outages, and cost controls.
• On-call supervisor rotation and leadership in conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, vendors, and contractors.
• Audit and approve expenditures and requisitions.
