Job summary
Pixelle Specialty Solutions is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Tech - Level 1 to join our maintenance team in Spring Grove, PA. You will assist with electro/pneumatic/hydraulic/digital/drive control systems, applying electrical theory to troubleshoot and support automated processes.
The role requires understanding instrumentation and control logic, including PLC, DCS, and drive systems. You will read wiring diagrams, document performance, and assist with project documentation
Qualifications
- Basic electrical theory and troubleshooting of industrial systems.
- Knowledge of instrumentation: transmitters, valves, solenoids, pumps.
- Understanding of control logic for automated systems (PLC, DCS, drives).
- Ability to read wiring diagrams/loop sheets and apply safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Assist and perform work on electro/pneumatic/hydraulic/digital/drive control systems.
- Apply basic electrical theory to troubleshoot industrial systems.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems including PLC, DCS, and drives.
- Read wiring diagrams and interpret loop sheets; maintain records and logs.
- Support start-up of new or upgraded systems and assist with documentation for projects.
- Provide 24/7 coverage with other maintenance crafts as required.
