Job summary

Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. seeks an I&E Maintenance Supervisor to lead a high-performing maintenance team in a chemical or food manufacturing setting.

You will maximize uptime, improve maintenance processes, and drive continuous improvement while building a skilled technician workforce. You will promote a strong safety culture, train staff on quality and safety standards, and manage MOC processes, while coordinating with contractors for major shutdowns and outages.

Job description

Responsibilities.

• The I&E Maintenance Supervisor will lead the maintenance team responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. Maximize equipment uptime, improve maintenance processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a skilled team of technicians.


• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.


• Train employees on quality and safety requirements.


• Support and oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process.


• Lead the Electrical & Instrumentation team


• Plan major maintenance shutdowns and equipment outages.


• Coordinate work with contractors and plant operations.


• Lead maintenance and reliability improvement projects.


• Relocation provided. $120K-$160K.

Requirements

• The I&E Maintenance Supervisor will have a BS or AS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant (chemical or food industry preferred).


• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM), CMMS, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).


• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and engineering principles.


• Experience leading, coaching, and developing hourly employees and coordinating outside contractors.


• Experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and managing maintenance work while controlling budgets and costs.


• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
