Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is hiring a Safety Coordinator to train, coach, and coordinate safety reporting across two Nampa sites. This hourly indirect labor role balances responsibilities between Madison Ave and Ten Lane locations to strengthen EHS programs and drive safety improvements.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred EHS degree and at least 1 year in a related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EHS degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, training and personnel development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or deliver task-based training to employees.
• Coordinate with Area Safety Manager to keep Environmental, Health and Safety programs updated and tracked.
• Oversee and drive Safety Action Team / Safety Committee activities and track minutes and actions.
• Assist in morning safety huddles; document safety-related suggestions and concerns.
• Manage site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Plan and track R3 exercises and document results.
• Plan and track 5S projects and ensure sustainability.
• Collect and report Near Miss/Potential Hazard cards and manage action items.
