Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Nampa, Idaho seeks a Safety Coordinator to balance training and safety program management across two sites: Madison Ave and Ten Lane locations. This hourly, non-exempt role requires coordinating safety functions, coaching staff, and reporting on safety performance daily.

The position supports Environmental, Health and Safety programs, conducts onboarding, and drives 5S and PPE initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EHS degree preferred for this role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Deliver task-based training to employees at the sites.
• Coordinate with Area Safety Manager to maintain EH&S programs.
• Lead the Safety Action Team meetings and track required actions.
• Assist in morning safety huddles and document safety concerns.
• Maintain the Training Matrix and onboarding for new hires.
• Ensure PPE is available and aligned with programs.
• Support 5S activities and housekeeping initiatives.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and environmental monitoring tasks.
• Attend SAT meetings and participate in safety initiatives.
