Job summary

Carlisle Brake & Friction is seeking an EHS Technician to champion and support environmental, health, and safety programs at our Medina, OH plant. You will promote a safety-first culture, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain records, and provide feedback to Supervisors and Managers on program effectiveness and engagement.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, coordinating safety orientations, leading the safety committee, and collaborating with leadership on the site safety plan.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing EHS programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ability to coach employees on safety and compliance.
• Willingness to travel for training and knowledge sharing.
• Strong record keeping for compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Champion EHS compliance programs that promote a safety-first culture.
• Conduct safety and regulatory site inspections and observations.
• Maintain all record keeping associated with compliance programs.
• Communicate progress with plant leadership.
• Oversee the safety orientation program.
• Coach employees on safety and compliance.
• Lead safety committee.
• Occasional travel for training/best-practice sharing.
• Support site safety plan with OSHA-compliance focus.
• Foster professionalism with team members and customers.
• Report safety and environmental incidents to leadership.
