Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an EHS professional for its Anderson, SC facility to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs and drive a zero-injury culture. You will maintain regulatory compliance, lead risk-reduction initiatives, and coordinate training with Learning and Development, partnering with site leadership to improve safety and environmental performance.

The role requires 2–4 years in manufacturing/warehouse operations, strong communication, and experience with MS Office and Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Strong familiarity with construction activities including rigging and loading.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong customer service.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all management levels.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, promote safety as a Vertiv core value and drive a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate with Learning and Development to evaluate and develop EHS training.
• Maintain site safety records (SDS, JSA, Ergonomic Assessments) and logs.
• Maintain incident and injury records per OSHA and Vertiv requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Manage EHS metrics and KPIs; coordinate with VOS.
• Ensure new equipment and processes meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Advise EHS leader on facility risks, actions, and policies.
• Support Emergency and Crisis Management and MERT involvement.
• Audit site contractors and ensure guidelines are followed.
