Job summary

MACOM is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Technician in the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the EHS management system to ensure compliance with company and governmental rules, protecting employees and environment.

Key duties include supporting policy updates, conducting life safety inspections, leading regulated waste management, ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance, preparing training materials, and leading incident investigations. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–4 years of related EHS experience.
• Strong communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and update of environmental health and safety policies and procedures in line with Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Perform routine life safety equipment inspections.
• Lead the regulated waste management program, including inspections, accumulation, and shipment.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable guidelines.
• Prepare training materials and conduct EHS training sessions.
• Lead injury and incident reviews, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing.
