Job summary

Amcor is seeking an EHS Manager in the United States to lead safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities. The role focuses on developing training, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement in occupational health and safety practices.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of industrial safety experience and strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, with excellent communication and organizational skills to mentor teams and support a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Safety Management preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 3–5 years Safety Experience in an industrial setting.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and manages safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Identifies hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommends corrective measures.
• Organizes and oversees all required safety training, e.g. fork truck, lockout, new hire onboarding, etc.
• Provides safety orientation to new employees.
• Manages the contractor safety program and ensure compliance.
• Prepares monthly incident summary reports.
