Job summary

Chobani is seeking an EHS Supervisor to advance the site’s environmental, health and safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance across operations. You will provide site leadership to associates and cross‑functional teams to identify hazards, improve safety performance, and sustain a strong EHS culture.

The role emphasizes environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, permits, inspections, and improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, Regulatory Compliance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in safety, environmental, regulatory, or EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Environmental compliance experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA and environmental regulations knowledge.
• Experience with environmental permitting, reporting, inspections, or programs.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop safety performance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage all levels.
• Ability to work flexible hours across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory recordkeeping (OSHA 300 Logs, training records, KPIs, action plans).
• Develop and mentor safety teams and trainers to support compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and correct hazards across the site.
• Promote safety awareness through communications, programs and postings.
• Interpret safety standards and implement policies, JSAs, PPE assessments.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Partner with HR to ensure safety accountability processes.
• Manage hearing conservation program and related certifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering on projects to address environmental requirements.
• Contribute to environmental training and awareness programs.
• Track leading and lagging EHS indicators; share best practices across sites.
• Coordinate capital funds to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
