Job summary

Chobani is seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor to lead Environmental, Health and Safety programs at our New York site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, mentor teams, and drive a strong, sustainable EHS culture across associates, supervisors and managers.

The role emphasizes environmental compliance, safety program management, audits, incident investigations, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, HR, and operations to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, Regulatory Compliance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in safety, environmental, regulatory, or EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulations.
• Experience with environmental permitting, regulatory reporting, inspections, or compliance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and develop safety performance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory recordkeeping (OSHA 300 Logs, training records, KPIs, action plans, scorecards).
• Develop and mentor safety teams to support site safety, compliance, and training completion.
• Conduct worksite and farm safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness through communications, safety posts, and recognition programs.
• Interpret safety standards and develop policies, JSAs, and PPE assessments.
• Mentor supervisors in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to administer safety accountability processes.
• Support hearing conservation program and certification maintenance.
• Develop external safety network to stay current on best practices.
