Job summary

Chobani is seeking an EHS Supervisor to lead the site Environmental, Health and Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and guiding teams across the site. The role focuses on hazard identification, safety performance improvement, and building a strong EHS culture.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in safety or EHS within manufacturing and strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. The position includes meaningful benefits and opportunities to influence safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, Regulatory Compliance, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in safety, environmental, regulatory, or EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Environmental Compliance experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulations.
• Experience with environmental permitting, regulatory reporting, inspections, or compliance programs.
• Ability to lead, influence and develop safety performance.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and support across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory recordkeeping including OSHA 300 Logs, training records, KPIs and scorecards.
• Develop and mentor safety teams to support regulatory compliance and training completion.
• Conduct worksite and farm safety inspections to identify and correct hazards.
• Promote safety awareness through communications, safety postings and programs.
• Interpret safety standards and develop policies, JSAs, and PPE assessments.
• Mentor supervisors in investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Partner with Human Resources to administer safety accountability processes.
• Manage and support hearing conservation program and related certifications.
• Develop external safety network to stay current on best practices.
