Job summary

Chobani is seeking an EHS Supervisor to advance environmental, health, and safety programs at our site in New York. The role leads safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while fostering a strong EHS culture across teams.

The ideal candidate will have environmental compliance experience in manufacturing, with the ability to manage permits, inspections, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, Regulatory Compliance, or related field.
• 3-5 years in safety, environmental, regulatory, or EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA and environmental regulations; permitting and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory recordkeeping (OSHA 300 logs, safety training records, KPIs, action plans, safety scorecards).
• Develop and mentor safety teams and trainers to support compliance and training completion.
• Conduct worksite and farm safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness through communications, recognition programs, and health events.
• Interpret safety standards and develop policies, JSAs, and PPE assessments.
• Mentor supervisors in investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Partner with HR on safety accountability processes.
• Support hearing conservation program and related certifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering on environmental compliance for new projects.
