Legrand is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in Anaheim, CA to manage facility EH&S programs and drive a safety culture toward zero injuries. This role reports to the Power & Thermal Management Division and requires strong incident investigation skills and program management across air, waste, and wastewater areas.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety is required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor safe working conditions by having a strong floor presence.
• Develop, manage and maintain EH&S programs to include improvement, prevention and compliance.
• Drive environmental programs related to air, waste, and wastewater.
• Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Address unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, hazards, and environmental risks and evaluate the ensuing corrections.
• Evaluate and recommend safety solutions including changes in equipment and tools used in daily operations to reduce risk and improve ergonomic conditions; work with vendors to test equipment and justify purchases.
• Manage Safety Committee team, provide guidance, oversee safety inspections, create content for monthly meetings, and ensure prompt follow-up on all open safety tasks.
• Create, distribute and monitor delivery of daily safety talks to department leads and supervisors and ensure participation.
• Implement and assess training programs required by EPA, ISO-14001, and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct/coordinate training in safety and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and safety equipment use; maintain training records.
