Job summary

Legrand is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for its Audi Visual Division in Warsaw, IN. The role serves as the primary EHS resource for the facility and collaborates with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and site leadership to promote environmental, health, and safety compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on EHS background, build strong relationships, and balance regulatory requirements with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in safety/environmental field.
• 3+ years in EHS or related industrial roles.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and investigations.
• Experience with EHS management systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS resource for the Warsaw facility and support AV division sites.
• Promote a positive safety culture, employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct workplace inspections, compliance audits, risk assessments, and management system evaluations.
• Lead or support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training, emergency preparedness, contractor safety programs, and safety committee initiatives.
• Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and state/local environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate EHS performance metrics, trends, and regulatory reporting.
• Support development and continuous improvement of EHS programs and management systems across the division.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Operations, or related field
