Job summary

Precoat Metals Corp in La Porte, IN is seeking an experienced EHS professional to partner with plant management to drive a culture of safety. You will monitor working and environmental conditions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and enforce health, safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing training, safety audits, incident investigations, OSHA reporting, and maintaining OSHA logs, ERP plans, and safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in safety and/or environmental management, manufacturing, engineering or similar preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in workplace EHS management.
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safety audits and maintains documentation.
• Cha irs the Safety Committee and conducts monthly meetings.
• Inspects workspace conditions to ensure safety standards.
• Maintains OSHA logs and reporting.
• Manages and conducts quarterly safety audits.
• Investigates incidents and prepares reports.
• Maintains all safety-related documentation and ERP updates to pass audits.
